DescriptionEdit

This is the brother build to Ying Quan (Shadow Fist). The goal with this build was to load on as much unresistable damage as possible, in a high accuracy, high defense build. Yao Quan goes the route of Epic Divine Might and Divine Shield for defensive buffing, as well as using Sacred Flames from the Sacred Fist class in order to buff up his damage.

Advantages:

• no weapon means no worry about disarms

• buffed out to 9 attacks per round (level adjusted to L29 using an Aasimar), 61/61/56/51/46/41/36/61/61, so he hits quite a bit

• very high unresistable damage output, +22 divine from epic divine might, and +17 from sacred flames and then additional divine and magic damage from cleric spells

• 11 levels of monk and 10 levels of sacred fist makes him quick on his feet

• 18 levels of divine spellcasting make him a good spellcaster

• high skill values due to many monk and sacred fist levels, so good in dealing with stealth

• packs a lot of extended regeneration and heals

• no multiclass penalty

• high wisdom, strength, charisma scores are all synergistic for his classes monk, cleric, sacred fist

Disadvantages:

• accuracy not as high as other builds with a divine caster backbone

• needs to be level adjusted for a fair fight

• defense while high is not high enough to deal with extremely high accuracy builds
