- Specifics: This feat allows the character to use the club, crossbow (light), crossbow (heavy), dagger, handaxe, kama, quarterstaff, shuriken, and sling.
- Use: Automatic
Special: Monks receive this feat automatically at their first level.

- Weapons you aren't proficient in can still be equipped but you take a -4 penalty on attack rolls.
- In the SRD the monk is also proficient with the javelin, nunchaku, sai and siangham, but these are not included in NWN2.
