Weapon

A weapon is an item that causes damage to opponents when wielded by a character. These range from melee and ranged weapons to projectiles such as acid flasks and acid bombs.

There are three basic types of physical damage: bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing. The type of damage depends on the type of weapon used. Some weapons, such as the two-bladed sword, are capable of doing two types of damage.

Weapons are also capable of elemental damage, and there are several other possible damage types if the weapon has been appropriately enchanted.
