This article could really use some clarification. I'd fix it myself, but this is the first I've heard of the feat.
"A Medium-sized character could use a large-sized Longsword as a one-handed weapon."
A Longsword is a medium-sized weapon and can always be wielded one-handed by a medium-sized character. Perhaps Greatsword was the intended weapon.
"...or to wield an oversized light weapon in your off-hand."
"Light weapons" are almost invariably small-sized, and barring the Rapier, Halflings/Gnomes can already dual-wield them. Also, does that rule out dual-wielding ANY oversized weapon, or only light oversized weapons? I ask because it's a very odd restriction otherwise. 4.249.114.141 12:59, 23 September 2006 (PDT) Devon_v
-- Just to point out, this doesn't follow the 3.5 rules. And I assume NWN 2 will be using 3.0 rules for weapon sizes and handiness? The 3.5 rules would allow you to use a weapon sized for a character 1 size larger than you as a weapon of your size but with a -2 penalty.
So a Human (medium size) can use a Large Greatsword as a 2h weapon. It has no benefit for a human trying to use a medium greatsword as a 1h weapon.
having read on, nwn rules for weapons seem to follow on into NWN 2. So perhaps a note explaining this rule in the context of NWN rather than 3.5 Zelphi 09:32, 26 September 2006 (PDT)
