If the Divine Storm Soul gets Weapon Specialization from favored soul, then why not delay the change to blackguard and go stormlord first (and take BG prerequisite feats in the meantime), so as to enable you to take divine champion instead of fighter (so you still get bonus feats), and take 3 BG levels (obviously in a way that lets you pick a feat at the third BG level) so you could take 5 instead of 4 divine champion levels? You'll lose a sneak attack but gain Divine Wrath. And Divine Wrath is pretty nice.

- You can take Stormlord first if you want to. The levelling guide is a suggestion rather than anything set in stone. DC is problematic because feats are so tight. It essentially takes every feat at its disposal to net Epic Divine Might, and 4 Fighter nets 1 more feat than 5 DC.

Alternate idea for full casting[]
I love this build, but if you want to go the full lvl 30 caster route, and you can basically do that by dropping the fighter levels and adding a cleric level
Overall: FS 16/SL 10/Pal 2/Cl 2 or FS 16/SL 10/Pal 3/Cl 1 etc
Take Darkness and Earth domains, and you only really lose out on the Cleave feat, which you don't need for the Paladin version anyway.
You could also easily get Divine Shield if you drop Luck of Heroes (can take the Luck domain instead of Darkness domain since you can get the Blindsight spell anyway)
I'd also adjust the stats a little bit as follows:
STR - 16 DEX - 8 CON - 14 INT - 12 WIS - 10 CHA - 16
Lets you get an extra skill point so you can get 16 Tumble and UMD, and 10 WIS qualifies you for Devout for another +1 will save.
Using monk boots negates the AC loss, plus you can always use a +8 DEX item for full AC bonus in plate.
The only noticeable drawback is you only have 22 BAB under this scheme, but the buffs will make your AB ridiculous anyways.

Full casting, listen and sleight of hand class skill. Better against sneakers and a chance to steal back your precious spear. 63 AB with shield(65 without) with all buffs on and epic gear.
Has disarm. Disarm is awesome.
It doesn't really lose that much compared to divine soul.
