I believe you won't have enough lore yet. Take ranger instead before taking the 4 RDD levels immediately after. Also, you could drop a level of bard and instead add a BG on a feat level for divine shield. The 1d6 sneak attack is nice icing on the cake. Anyway, this is an awesome build! -Riviet

Thats actually not a bad idea. Unfortunately, this particular build suffers from what I call Last Level Syndrome (LLS). Basically, you need to put one of your classes at the last level (30). It can't be Blackguard 4, since you need it on a feat level for Divine shield. It can't be Ranger 21, since you need it before level 29 to get Bane of Enemies. And it can't be RDD 4, since you need the last +2 Strength bonus to qualify for Epic Divine Might, which you need to get by level 27. In short, the only possibility was either Ranger 22 or Bard 2, of which Bard 2 provides more benefits. It might be possible to finish on RDD 4, if you shifted one Great Cha to Great Str, then you would reach Str 21 by level 29. But this would also cause your Final stats to be Str 23 / Cha 21. -JeminiZero

• If you know you can get +wisdom and +dex items you can lower those stats and raise charisma enough that you only need RDD lvl 2 for epic divine might. You can then pick up the fourth lvl of blackguard for divine shield.

[edit] Ranger 11 instead of 21

Is it possible to make this build much tougher by getting: Ra 11, Brd 1, RDD 10, BG8? Fewer attacks, but much, much higher damage due to +2 CHA and +4 STR. Also +2 INT and +2 CON

Can you swap 1 bard and 3 blackguard for 4 paladins?

I don't think so, or at least, not without fundamentally changing the nature of the build. Part of the reason for Bard was that it grants access to the games 3 most important skills (Tumble, UMD, Spellcraft).
