Considered the highest form of protection without resorting to large quantities of metal, studded leather armor improves on leather armor by adding metal studs to the surface. The intention is that the studs increase the chance of deflecting blows while not restricting movement as much as going to chainmail.

Crafting moldEdit

The crafting mold for leather armor requires 3 leather hides. Salamander hide can be used as a substitute (DC 15), with 10/- fire damage resistance and 40% weight reduction to the armor.
