Spell slot

A spellcaster who uses spell preparation has a number of spell slots equal to their spells per day. Each spell slot is used to prepare a single instance of a spell.

Clerics have a single spell slot for each spell level from 1st level upwards. This spell slot may only be used for the preparation of one of the two spells gained ffrom the cleric's domains.
