Profession is not included in NWN2. In D&D, it is used as a way of training in a professional role such as cook, farmer, stablehand, porter and suchlike. It could feasably be added through custom content and have module based skill checks to use (although there would be a lot of "Profession: XXX" skills for each job). The main use of the skill is to make gold off a profession check, although it can take weeks of time, thus is not too suitable unless scripted properly for a real-time game.
