Obsidian Entertainment is the developer of Neverwinter Nights 2.
It is located in Santa Ana, California and was founded in 2003 by Feargus Urquhart, Chris Parker, Darren Monahan, Chris Avellone & Chris Jones after the disestablishment of Interplay Productions' Black Isle Studios.
Obsidian's first production was Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (KotOR II), released in 2004 for Xbox and in 2005 for PC -- another sequel to a BioWare game.
