Magic Circle Against Alignment protects the target and all creatures within 10 feet from either good or evil, chosen at the time of casting, as if under the effect of a Protection from alignment spell.

Although the game engine allows players to cast this as a Persistent Spell, doing so will have no effect on the spell's duration. Casting Magic Circle against Alignment as a Persistent spell is a waste of a perfectly good 9th-level slot. Even if the spell script was fixed to account for persistence, a spellcaster of 12th level or higher should use the Extend Spell metamagic instead. Not only will an Extended spell use up only a 4th-level slot, its duration will also be longer than the Persistent equivalent if the spellcaster is at least 13th level.
This spell can't be Stilled. Even with Auto-Still feat, this spell will fail if using armor or other Arcane Spell Failure causing features.
