|Spell resistance :||No|
An invisible but tangible field of force surrounds the subject of a mage armor spell, providing a +4 armor bonus to AC.
Bug Notes Edit
Under the metamagic column of the Spells.2da file, Mage Armor is listed as 0x7b, which means it works with Empower Spell. While perhaps deliberately done by Obsidian, it can be fixed by changing it to 0x7a. Even though this bug exists and can be cast with the Empower Spell feat, the spell effect is NOT empowered because the script does not contain a check for the feat's use.
This spell cannot be scribed to a scroll by a Cleric with the Scribe Scroll feat.
