In addition to normal eldritch blast damage, the hindering blast forces any creature struck to make a Will save or become slowed. A slowed creature moves and attacks at a drastically reduced rate, taking a -1 penalty on attack rolls, AC, and Reflex saves and moving at half its normal speed. Multiple slow effects don't stack. This invocation counters and dispels haste.
Note: This invocation appears to be identical to Draining Blast.
