Grease creates an amount of grease and oil to fill the area of effect and causes creatures in it to fall prone unless they succeed at their saving throw in which case their movement is slowed while they remain in the effect.
Area of Effect is Huge (same as the Fireball spell), not Medium, as the description suggests.
