Neverwinter Nights Extender (NWNX) is software that allows server admins to add extra functionality to the NWN1 dedicated server. It dynamically loads libraries into the server that can perform various tasks, like ODBC database connectivity.
The NWNX developers are planning a version for NWN2 called NWNX4, and Obsidian have included functions in their 1.05 patch to provide hooks for this third party application [1]
