[edit] Description
A field of thick, rubbery tentacles rises from the ground. For every round that a creature is caught within the area of effect, it suffers attacks from 1d4 tentacles, each capable of doing 1d6+4 points bludgeoning damage. If any tentacle attack hits a target, the target must then make a Fortitude saving throw or become paralyzed.
[edit] Notes
Each of the 1d4 tentacles has a fixed +5 AB to hit and no chance for a critical hit, so it is useless against targets that have an AC > 25. The tentacles do not scale with level.
But, as of patch 1.12, roll of 20 is considered auto-hit. So, you still have around 5% chance per tentacle to get hit even with AC higher than 25.
