Some classes rely mostly upon combat. However, this does not proclude them from also being spellcasters. It just means that their focus is mostly on combat and less on spellcasting.
Each combat class typically relies on a different style of combat. The combat styles are affected by two main attributes, Strength and Dexterity. While these combat styles are not restricted to any particular class or prestige, the typical classes that use that particular method are shown on the table. Some classes, such as the Fighter, can utilize any of these combat styles effectively. Others, such as the Bard, favor one style over all of the others. Again, while the table lists the most common classes to utilize a particular style of combat, any class can be built around any particular combat style.
|Style||Ability||Classes that typically use this style|
|Archery||Dexterity||Arcane archer, Bard, Ranger, Rogue, Stormlord, Warlock|
|One Handed||Strength||Eldritch knight, Warlock|
|One Handed||Dexterity*||Bard, Duellist, Rogue, Shadow Thief of Amn (class), Warlock|
|Strength||Barbarian, Blackguard, Divine champion, Dwarven defender, Fighter,|
Frenzied berserker, Neverwinter Nine (class), Paladin, Warpriest, Weapon master
|Dexterity*||Barbarian, Dwarven defender, Frenzied berserker, Weapon master|
|Two Handed||Strength||Barbarian, Blackguard, Divine champion, Fighter, Frenzied berserker,|
Paladin, Red dragon disciple, Stormlord, Weapon master
|Two Weapon||Strength||Frenzied berserker, Ranger, Red dragon disciple|
|Two Weapon||Dexterity*||Assassin, Bard, Invisible blade, Ranger, Rogue, Shadow Dancer|
|Unarmed||Strength||Monk, Sacred fist|
* The use of Dexterity by this combat feat involves the use of the Weapon Finesse feat. This allows the combatant to use their Dexterity bonus instead of Strength to their Attack Bonus for the purposes of hitting the opponent. However, damage dealt is still based upon Strength.

This is a list that adds all of the classes from Kaedrin's PRC Pack, and will allow for easy comparison between the classes from the original game and those added by Kaedrin.(This is a work in progress.)
