A character is a fictional individual within the confines of the NWN2 fantasy game setting.
Comparison with Creature

The words character and creature are not synonyms. A creature is not necessarily a character, while every character is a creature.
Scripting of characters and creatures also differs. Player characters (PCs) are controlled by a game player while non-player characters (NPCs) or other creatures are controlled by a DM or scripting.
