[edit] Bug Notes
This uses the same icon as Blindness/Deafness, which might cause some confusion when selecting it from places like the quickbar or quickcast menu.
Line 52: This spell doesn't use the NWN2 ApplyMetamagicDurationMods() and ApplyMetamagicDurationTypeMods() functions.
[edit] Gameplay Notes
The spell acts like fireball and can affect allies, the description has been altered to match.
The spells area of effect is not too great, however, the effects of blindness and deafness with a high save DC, can make it useful against creatures with low fortitude saves - especially spellcasters like Clerics, Wizards and the like who need to see a target to specifically target them with spells. Since you can catch a few creatures together with this spell, it can be useful in some circumstances.
Against fighters, while it would be useful, the fortitude negation is usually less successful against them.
