X2_S0_Blckstff.nss

Line 60: This spell doesn't use the NWN2 ApplyMetamagicDurationMods() and ApplyMetamagicDurationTypeMods() functions.

Line 67: GetItemPossessor(oMyWeapon) may be invalid, if the item the spell is cast on is an object on the ground. Signalling the event at the caster (to validate "success") would be better, when the item possessor is invalid.

Line 74: GetItemPossessor(oMyWeapon) might be invalid, if cast on an item on the ground. The visual effect shouldn't be attempted to be used if this is the case.

[edit] Gameplay Notes

Dispel Magic has a maximum bonus of +10 on the roll, so the caster level of 16 is capped at +10 anyway. See the Dispel Magic description for the workings.

The +4 enchantment bonus is pretty powerful for someone who has specialised in using quarterstaffs.

This is better used on a weapon armed by another creature, since a wizard at the required level likely will not hit anything with the quarterstaff. Of course, if the mage is desperate and needs to use melee weapons, having this prepared on a scroll might prove useful.
